The BRAVE Platform idea began with the establishment of PETIN in August, 2012 by the Founding Tutor, Kehinde Olusegun, after a meritorious service and voluntarily disengaging in October, 2012 as Rector. On strictly private arrangement basis, PETIN provided facilitation for students, across various organisations and professional bodies, running undergraduate, post-graduate and professional programmes in various disciplines such as Law, Accountancy, Entrepreneurship, Business Education, Taxation, Pharmacy, Community Health, English Language, etc., including IELTS, SAT, TOEFL, IJMB, Scholarships and Grants Facilitation, among others. The Lead Consultant, Prof. Kehinde Olusegun, who is a member of many professional bodies and honoured with several meritorious awards, is a Chartered Accountant of over 30 years standing, along with his co-travelers, has made giant strides at various stages of educational development in Nigeria. He is pioneer President/Chairman of Council, Certified Institute of Cooperatives and Social Enterprise Management (CICOSEMA). The organisation’s activities are carried on in a well-situated premises, which is compact, conducive and apt. Incorporated in 2015, The BRAVE Platform is an organisation particularly set up and packaged to provide business management, human resource and first class tertiary education services that support every stratum of the Nigerian economy, and beyond, and has been able to identify, by prioritization, the critical paths. Exploring and beating new paths successfully, advantaged by uninformed competitors and at an enviable premium advantage of already running a training organisation, with many products that are already familiar and comfortable with quality of the services on offer, are some of the unique advantages. It inculcates the highest of standards. With backup experiences, the organisation provides and meets the expectations of all stakeholders by meeting mutually agreed and officially-set targets, justifying the set objective in superior stead. Promoters of The BRAVE Platform are no ‘green horns’ in the business of tertiary education and its workings within the Nigerian environment, especially, and at the global sphere. Conscious profiting from a line yet to be understood by many is always interesting for the forthright entrepreneur, who quickly takes advantage of the leadership position offered, not just as the lead entrepreneur but also as a front runner. Reward for such efforts do not stem from the best ideas but best approach/approaches. The BRAVE Platform has in place a well-packaged and especially highly rewarding arrangements which create the most-efficient operating model. This arrangement showcases enterprising and the most viable synergies, while also offering the appropriate conducive environment to articulate winning ways that are tested. Coming out of a careful study, by tested professionals, of the present Nigerian environment, study of other countries and projections into the dream future to avoid same pitfalls that beleaguered others in concepts and approaches, the organisation provides value, opportunities and benefits that gives it a unique edge by the depth of understanding / background knowledge of the intricacies and dynamics of tertiary education and industry. This, certainly, cannot be discounted. The BRAVE Platform’s primary objective is to provide its services timely, efficiently, and at most affordable and reasonable returns to its stakeholders. The vision, the organisation is determined to achieve! The methodology is simple and adequate to ensure prudent management and quality service delivery, backed with its experiences of managerial, financial, technical and marketing capabilities, completion and delivery of promises within appropriate and agreed time frames. Having put in place appropriate machinery for viable target market accessibility to its services, the organisation remains fortified, consciously working round-the-clock to consolidate on its already established and successfully impacted business culture, expressed in efficient management by its owners, and, at the same time, seeking new avenues for broader expansion, both structurally and socially. The philosophy of The BRAVE Platform is to raise and train people who will be self-sufficient, guided by its entrenched belief in cladogenesis-evolution that occurs in response to the specific environmental demands…; skillful use of modern technical tools that are needed for performance of fundamental and applied research; emphasis of the inter-relationship of technology and social and management issues; and facilities provision that ensure staying abreast of developments in chosen fields of endeavour. The need to train and upgrade its labour strength to meet envisaged dynamic challenges of its operating environment, globally, is already identified and the best of approaches are being explored. By this, therefore, periodic reorganization is imperative to afford all employees equal opportunities and healthy competition for achievement of the corporate objective. Executive Management: The BRAVE Platform’s Executive Management consists of a team of all principal officers of the organisation that meets monthly (or as deemed necessary) principally to formulate and communicate policies on operational direction for the project, and these must necessarily be compatible with agreements reached with other stakeholders. Planning and Implementation Committee (PIC): A PIC has been put together for efficient coordination of the project. This is the project’s Executive Committee. All consultants engaged relate directly with the PIC in discharge of their duties.
